Arctic Farming to participate in the Viikki Food Design Factory Germinator

Arctic Farming has been accepted to the Viikki Food Design Factory Germinator programme batch 2022-2023. During the programme, we will further develop our disruptive vertical farming technologies with a focus on improving the science behind the plants grown in our vertical farming modules.

The Viikki Food Design Factory Germinator programme, organised at the Viikki Campus at the University of Helsinki, brings together food and innovation experts to facilitate the creation of new sustainable solutions related to primary production, processing, distribution and consumption of food. The programme provides the participating companies with sector and market understanding, tutoring and coaching as well as support for solution commercialisation from experienced mentors. In addition, being located at the University of Helsinki Viikki campus, the Germinator provides the participating companies with highest quality laboratory facilities for prototyping and testing as well as piloting opportunities with industry partners. Finally, the Germinator is an excellent way for startups to meet investors interested in new and novel food innovations.

You can read more about the programme on the Viikki Food Design Factory website: https://www.helsinki.fi/en/viikki-food-design-factory/about-us/germinator-programme.
